PS3 Small crash, Poor FPV range after repair

I think I posted this previously in the wrong thread....


Fell from about 8 feet, gimbal mount broke camera half came off. Pull the harness clean but the great and black wires were pulled out of the u.fl connector. Re soldiered but FPV view is glitchy and range noticeably less than before. Also the connector didn't seem to "snap" back into place. I want to do an antennae mod but want it back to "stock" performance before doing so.

Suggestions on the connectors (where to get replacement etc?)

Suggestions on antennae mod (ARGtek looks good?)

Search for external 2.4 ghz antennas or stock birdside rrplacement in the forums. The part you want to make it stock again is part 97.

I had this happen. You really should just replace the Part 97 antennas. Soldering them really wont work. Each wire is 2 parts. Almost impossible to separate.

After repair with stock bird side ant went 4646 with full FPV before i brought it back. I this is a bone stock PS3
