Propeller fly off in flight

Hi new to the board. I have 2 gen. 1 phantoms. After having both with the same problem of the nut and the propellers flying off,
Today I spent an hour and a half with tech support and sales support. They came out with a new propeller that is 8" and requires no nut to be on top. It took a little bit of persuading but they agreed to send me the new propellers. Hopefully no more crashes!

Your phantom if it was a Version 1.1.1 should have come with self tightening props. Phantom 2 definitely should have. Very odd indeed.

I have a 1.2 (model just before the 1.1.1) and those have the cross-threaded motors but didn't come with the 8" self-tightening props. I added those just after buying it though. That was before the Vision props came out and I switched to those.
