Problems with Skyzone FPV Goggles on Phantom 2

Just took delivery of the Skyzone FPV Dual Diversity Goggles. Not very impressed. Using an Immersion 600mw tx with cloverleaf antenna, the reception was sketchy, sometimes the picture split in half with the top part on the bottom, sometimes it would roll. The image on the screen has black bars at the top and bottom so it's missing out on a lot of pixel space. Switch to the inbuilt camera and it uses all pixels.
Has anyone had success in using these goggles on Phantom 2 H3-2D or H3-3D setup? What combination of tx, antennas etc did you use?

Well, for starters the black bars are because you are shooting in 1080p which is a 16:9 resolution. Switch to 1440p and the GoPro will fill the whole screen. Also, check whether the SkyZones are PAL or NTSC and set your GoPro to the same mode. They are likely to be PAL and that's the standard used in China.

I have no advice with the picture breakup though other than try a different channel

I think I read somewhere that the Immersion transmitters don't work well with the Skyzone.
