I am amazed that this drone is the same price everywhere. I want the Vision 2 + with 2nd battery. it is 1229 delivered with tax included, EVERYWEHERE How is this possible? I think it is a nice toy, but wow, very $$$$$$

They all price match. If someone drops they all do.

So I guess the price was just lowered, when Phantom 3 comes out I assume another price drop. Do they ever do Black Friday deals...?

I don't quite recall them having any Black Friday deals, but yah, they def have the Phantom's price-fixed everywhere.
although some dealers have throw in extra batteries in the past (tho that was mostly for Phantom 1's)

This is no different than what Apple does. If you want to be a dealer, you have to sell it at the price they say.
