Price drop?

Not knowing DJI's past sales practices, do any of you expect to see a significant price drop for the current Phantom model when the new "Vision" model is released? Or is it just a flip of the coin?
Just trying to decide which to buy for the 1st time.

I think the price drop was more to do with the other quadcopters, that have come to market, not the fact that the Vision
is coming out soon. In fact, the price of the Vision will probably be lower than originally planned by DJI as well, due to
the copycat nature of the market. It is easy to look at a product, and make something similar. The hard work
is done by the innovators, such as DJI.

I hope you're right about the Vision possibly being lower in price because I'm set on getting it or the current model and installing a Drift camera. Thanks, it gives me a little encouragement. ****, I wish winter wasn't just ahead.

I don't imagine seeing them drop the price much further, the parts alone to build a similar 330 quad come to about the same amount I'd say. (motors, escs's, NAZA, battery, Tx, charger, etc)

Just gotta wait and see what's announced.
