Preparing a P4 for sale

I'm thinking of selling my P4 and upgrading to a different drone (a topic for a different thread).

My question here is what all do I need to the drone to make sure I'm not liable for anything a future owner does with it? Do I need to "De-Activate" the drone from DJI so that my name is no longer associated with it? Anything else that needs to be done?

It's not possible to de-activate/de-register a drone with DJI. When the new owner logs into his/her DJI account in DJI GO, any flight logs uploaded to DJI will be associated with that owner's DJI account.

Anything else that needs to be done?

Remove any contact, FAA, etc. labels you attached to the outside of the drone.

Complete a Bill of Sale documenting the transaction. You will then have a record of the sale if something goes wrong in the future.
