Power Line Interference

Contemplating an aerial shoot of a house that is across the street from these lines. I have had no problems with standard lines, but these are larger in diameter. I seriously do not want a fly away from interference, and most definitely would not want to be one of the knot heads we get to read about doing something reckless or dangerous. Anyone had issues around this type of power line. It is obviously the large 100 foot steel poles that I would definitely stay way from.

Looking for experienced flyers for comments.

It's a good idea not to let large power lines get between you and the Phantom. I have flown around heavy power but try to plan flights as far away as possible. But don't let them dictate a fly-don't fly decision.

Thank you guys for your advice.

I had not seen that one. This pilot has some big "brass ones"!

I did see the blind luck video where the guy made an accidental run between power lines and then back through them again on return. He had no clue until reviewing video from camera.
