New to the P4P and wondering if it is possible to mark a location in the air including direction and gimbal position to help with creating composite images.

For example, head up at sunset and get a shot and mark the spot. Then wait til dark and all lights on in town and head up again to get second shot. Layer the two in photoshop to blend in the lights. Ideally would be able to get back to nearly the same spot, direction and camera angle.

Is this possible?

This is the best I've managed as far as compositions so far with multiple shots for the head/tail-lights. All shot while hovering in same spot and using 3 second shutters for lights with shorter for houses.

You could get the info from the flight logs, far as I know there is no dedicated "marking" feature.

You can make a waypoint mission with one point and fly your Phantom there again and again to shoot from the same spot anytime you want.
