Hi
I really hope some one can help. I own a Phantom 3 Pro
Here is what happens.

1.In late summer I was flying and got perfect sharp pictures like this: http://germann.dk:5000/sharing/I1uAMZEr1

2. Yesterday it was cold but and sunny. A new firmware updates was available, so I upgraded my P3P, remote, camera, and battery before flight, to the latest Firmware v1.10.90

3. The disappointment was big. I get bad pictures now like this: http://germann.dk:5000/sharing/oQJRYvkMI
and this: http://germann.dk:5000/sharing/qPCuTmyZf

4. Someone told me that it could be fog or caused by the cold weather, so two days later i shoot some pictures indoor, but still get bad quality like this: http://germann.dk:5000/sharing/SGgOtixrp
and this: http://germann.dk:5000/sharing/IK1x8qPhT

I have tried to downgrade the firmware, but it is not possible.
I have reset camera settings but i still get the same ugly pictures.

Anyone have any idea what to do? return it to the dealer?

So I just made a test.
Everything is unsharp except in the right upper corner. It is almost possible to read the small numbers on the motor.

I have to admit I'm interested in your post. I've got the P3A and have been more than happy with it and the picture quality. I upgraded over Christmas and only got to have a quick fly the other day due to work and weather. While out in the field I was not happy with the picture quality, which is a problem I've not had before. Thinking it could just be the feed I waited till I got home and took the photos of the sd card. I was not happy with what I saw as they seemed to have lost focus. I haven't had chance to try it outside again but i can confirm its had no bumps drops or crashes in between my last flight with good pics and my last flight the only difference is the firmware. I can't help but I can share my story.

Ok I've been looking around for some answers to this and I have found the below link. This would answer a lot of questions and could be a possibility as it was around 4-5c when I was flying.

See what you think.

Nice post, thanks.
Maybe it is not a firmware problem, but, it seem like the camera can be permanent damaged by flying in cold weather.
I still have the out of focus problem also in normal room temperature :-(

This weekend a friend of mine will bring his P3P and we will make a 1to1 compare of the photo quality.
I will bring the result here.

See how to adjust focus in the end of this video:
But I really don't want to do that, but maybe a solution

Nice one Malakai, i had seen your thread and would give it ago if i wasn't under warranty. Im going to try it again when warm to see if it sorts it self out if not its going back. Hopefully its down to the temperature and shouldn't be a big problem just a learning curve.

Yesterday I took the drone out, and took some pictures while the drone was still warm. The pictures looks actually OK, even that there was low light.
So I ques the P3P is not very good for indoor photo and outdoor photo when cold.
Anyhow I will compare with another P3P this weekend.

The temperature will affect things, it can cause the camera chassis, circuit boards etc to flex tiny amounts, this in turn can pull the area of focus around. I don't think they used aircraft grade aluminium for the camera body, this might have helped reduce temperature stress. There are foam pads inside that should help prevent movement of the board. However, of the phantoms I have done so far, none have had focus issues afterwards.
