So it has been noticeably warmer the past couple days here in the hills of LA than anytime in the past couple months.. I took the P3P out for a flight in the morning and switched to Atti mode and gave it some stick, I was pleasantly surprised to see a top speed of 48 mph consistently throughout the flight- the fastest I was able to get it to before was 42 mph in Atti mode, in GPS it won't go past 37 mph. It also seems like now it climbs a little faster as well. I'm running 1.6 firmware in the bird and batteries, I'm wondering if the increased performance is due to the firmware not holding back performance because of the warmer weather.. Anyone else running 1.6 notice performance gains when it's warm?

We know that FW 1.6 limits the battery drain at low temperatures but it's hard to believe that it allows additional current discharges at warm temperatures.

Are you comparing old motors vs new motors? Do you have older version of DJI go app, try with it?

Wow.. Looks like you had a 10 mph tailwind. Still that is moving

13 mins 40 secs flight time and 26,950 ft traveled.

That's 820 secs flight time

That's 33 ft traveled per second on average.

That's 1980 ft per minute average.

Let's call it 2000.

That's 120,000 ft per hour average

That's 22.7 mph average
