Photography question

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

As per advice on settings. I shoot at 2.7 24fps
100 iso 50 shutter

Last time I went out my histogram was "balanced" around 120-160 shutter

What is more important. The "shutter is 2x frame rate" rule or the balanced histogram?

In this case, how could I balance my histogram and keep the desired shutter speed? Would I want to keep it?

So that rule applies to video and in short the use of ND filters are required on bright days. There is a great article on page 33 of the guide listed in the link below. It's a really great guide in general, enjoy

Yup, keep your shutter double, and use the correct nd filters
