Just looking for some feedback on what's the best or most commonly used software to take a snap shot from the video footage to turn it into a jpeg besides print screen. Any easy tips. Thanks

Most video editors have a FRAME capture function that's full resolution of the video. So if you're capturing video in 4K, you'll have a photo resolution of 3,840 x 2,160. I use Pinnacle Studio because it's cheap, but Premier and DaVinci Resolve have this too I believe.

Hey John one more question I'm a little confused. When I take a photo flying it's 1920x1080. 3MB but taking the snap shot off the video its bigger in size at 2749x1536 but small file at 1 MB. if you could explain when time. Thanks

Photos are 4000X3000, or 12mp. The Jpeg compression takes it down to 3MB. My photos are usually closer to 5MB in jpeg format.
