Phone/Tablet mount solution

The phone clip in the P2V+ remote works great for my iPhone, but sometimes I want to use my iPad as well. I currently use the Quadlock mounting system in my cars so both iPad and iPhone have a Quadlock mount or case installed as do my wife's iPhone and iPad mini. In the interest of being able to use any of the devices if needed, I made a Quadlock adapter for the remote. Pics below. Currently using some electrical tape to hold the jaws closed. Will likely make it a bit more permanent in the future. Quadlock doesn't make an actual iPad case anymore, but I've found the universal adapter to stick on really well and it works great. My next addition will be some sort sun shade. The challenge there will be something that will work for both iPhone and iPad.

Couple pics of the mount in my Acadia. I've also got the window mount in my XV for iPhone and a ram mount arm near the gear shifter for iPad. Will grab some pics of those later.

Yep it's very solid. Today I modified it slightly to use the Bike mount from Quadlock as it has a lock sleeve so the iPad or iPhone can't fall off. Http://www.quadlockcase.com is the site. I have the case in my iPhone 5s and the universal adapter on both iPads. They also make cases for some android devices. The universal adapter can be added to many other cases and phones or tablets. I ordered directly from their site.

I picked this up awhile back from eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/FPV-LCD-Mon...Vision-IPAD-Samsung-Tab-Iphone-/311237888920?. The jaws portion will easily hold my medium/small sized samsung tablet and the tray is perfect for everything else (iPad Mini, iPad, etc...).
