Finally I figured out how to upgrade my FC30 for the iPad GS. Two questions
1. Is the TX useable once the iPad route is running? Can I use one channel to trigger an alarm if I install a double switch ro disable the normal response for that channel?
2. How else can I trigger an alarm when I see an animal in my field of view during th iPad gs route?
Thanks for any ideas.

Piezoelectric. Since I posted, was reading that the Mode, U, connection to the NAZA could be used if I am staying in one flying condition, iPad. No need to move it from the OFF position.
Thanks

You might be able to do that with the IOC channel (left switch), but I'm not sure how that could be done with the Mode (U) channel (right switch), since that one needs to read within certain ranges to not default to failsafe mode.
