    Do these do anything to help keep the prop guards out of the view of the camera?

    from the picture, i don't think so. i think you'll continue to get these prop guards into view of the camera sometimes if you accelerate fast enough...

    but they are safer around people.

    Yes, I understand the "safer" aspect, and also that extreme acceleration will show the props. Regular guards magnify that, so I was just wondering if these being higher up, would help that out. Seems like it would.
