Anyone have video footage from the P2V+ on a windy day? Thinking 10-15 mph. Was my main reason for upgrade. Those upgrading from P2V to plus how happy are you with it?

Why would it be different in the wind ? It's the same except the gimbal. It'll handle a windy day.

I disagree. the vision does not have a tilt axis therefore on a windy day (on gps mode) it will bank when the wind is pushing it giving you a sideways shot. I would recommend upgrading to a gimbal rather than the vision if you are worried about getting good shots. Obviously the vision has a great FPV system, but there are ways around that with the regular phantom also

It will keep your video almost perfectly level. There is a flag video up here somewhere. Big flag, standing straight out in the wind. The Phantom is hovering in front of it recording...wind pummeling her from the port side. You would think the camera was on a tripod. Its really that smooth.

Here is a perfect example of how wind can effect your shots. This video was shot today in 15-20 mph winds and flying in a cross breeze causes this effect. If you fly straight into the wind it's stable but the gimbal cannot handle cross wind very well and we get that Jello effect.

Nice Video Jayson. I just got a P2V+ and tomorrow is my shakedown flight. I liked the P2V and I got some really good shots and video, but the Plus is gonna be awesome! I saw the trees moving alot and I live in Lancaster Ca where it gets like that alot!

Oh, by the way, I did get a P2 H3 and it does have some good video with the GoPro, but not being able to fully control the camera from the ground and the loss of flight time due to aftermarket devices taking battery power, left me very disappointed!
Thank goodness Dji got it right. I just wish they would have given me a heads up before I spent all the time & money for something I really didn't want!
