Phantom Vision 2 + Camera and Gimbal Upgrade

Does anyone have any experience or advice with swapping the gimbal and camera to after-market GoPro on the Vision 2 + ??? My Vision 2 + literally dropped from the sky at about 60 feet and destroyed the camera and gimbal. Thanks in advance for any recommendations as I don't have the $675.00 to by the OEM version.

One option is to get the gimbal repaired. I highly recommend Hani UAV (uavrepairshop.com) I have heard nothing but good things about him. He also has fast turnarounds because he can ship you a loaner gimbal.

There are several threads about this. It's actually very easy to use a different camera/gimbal on the Vision 2+ and retain wifi FPV/telemetry features.
Search a bit (use google and sitehantompilots.com keyword) and you should be able to find them.
