Hello,

I've been flying the Phantom for about 6 months but am new to the inner workings.
I can find lots of info on Youtube about Futaba to Phantom but nothing about the installation of the Spektrum AR8000 receiver to the phantom.

I have taken the stock receiver out already but can't seem to find what to do next. What is done with the "plug" (esc?) that came off the stock receiver? What "plugs" from the Phantom connect to the AR8000?

Just need a point in the right direction!

Thanks,

KS

thanks...just watched and it makes better sense now. I see I need to get some Naza to AR8000 cables right? If so, will they match one each side? I mean, can each end be the same type plug?

Also, what happens to the cable/plug that I pulled from the stock receiver? I can't seem to find where anyone shows what happens to that cable.

Thanks.

Ha...thanks to both of you. The video helped and now I know what cables I need. If I'm not mistaken, I think I can pick those up locally. An thanks for the tip about that cable that is now just hanging!

I'll post a vid of my first flight with the Spektrum in a few days.

You can save or ditch the cable that connected the stock receiver to the NAZA.
