Please help. is there anything i can do to sort my problem out? i tried taking off and the aircraft did it's own thing. I've tried to reset (I think) both the craft and the remote. this was after i fitted an after market gimbal

Did you do an Advanced IMU Calibration and the Compass Dance since the gimbal mod?
You may find the link in my signature of some help.

The advanced IMU calibration fixes the little brain in your machine.

You need to pull up the manual and do some reading to accomplish the task.

Ignore the too warm warning.
It's a known issue.
Make it do it.

If you are running a camera with WiFi, turn off the WiFi.
If that doesn't work, disconnect the power to the gimbal and try it again.

Please offer more information about what your bird is doing.
More info = better help.

Good luck

Make sure you're not trying to fly in Manual mode. A lot of people mistake manual mode for "Phantom went crazy" because they don't know how or lack any experience flying regular RC helicopters. If this is not your issue or you know you are not in Manual mode then.... Disregard.
