I too am among many of you who crashed and now have a bent gimbal. This copter fell 8 feet after hitting a branch and I have a completely bent gimbal. Camera is fine, copter didn't even lose a prop or sustain any damage.
Although I liked some of the features of the Vision+, I would be willing to use the body as another vision 2 and just put on a real gimbal and gopro...I still think the video from the gopro is better than the vision+ was. Has anyone figured out how you can use the electronics, minus the FPV thru your phone or Ipad, and attach a Zenmuse or other gimbal?
I called DJI and after weeks of being bounced out of the queue, I basically got that we will have replacement parts in after the 15th, the camera/gimbal will cost over $600 to replace and you have to send the whole unit in...really, this is ridiculous. They had no idea (or won't tell you) if the vision+ will work with a different gimbal. Their customer service is pathetic.
Any help would be appreciated.
