Phantom 4 range

I havnt seen anything regarding the range in the P4 compared to the P3. Is it any better or is the technology any different? I remember losing signal and hoped the distance would increase.

It looks like it's the same as for the P3P and P3A... check the specs on www.dji.com

The specs for the transmitter are slightly different. The P4 has a little higher "Transmitting power". I wonder if that related to longer distance

The specs on the P3P & P4 look the same as far as expected distance.

The extra power from the transmitter will just give slightly more penetration through objects

I don`t think they had much need to upgrade the range, some peoples were able to reach 7-14km, without any mods out of the P3. My max range was 3km and my brain hit panic mode and pulled it back...
