Dear all, I have been in touch with DJI due to a few annoyances I have had and thought I would share this information for anyone who is unsure or, like me, started their journey with DJI with a Phantom 4 Pro:

We have sent an inquiry with our department that handles requests for parts if an LED cover is available for Phantom 4 Pro. We apologize for the inconvenience that you have experienced in purchasing parts that does not fit your aircraft. We will update you once we have the advise from them.

We have endorsed your suggestion of updating the website and to specify which parts are compatible with both Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro. Please refer to the list below on the parts that are compatible for both Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro.
