Hey all!

I've been slowly getting into more FPV flying and found I enjoy taking videos of my flights. I briefly considered the Inspire 1 for these shots, since a second person controlling the camera would be awesome.....but I'm not quite ready to invest ~$4k in a drone that I'll be using for fun.

So the biggest question I have is..........what does the P4 use for a screen??? Offhand it looks like you use a tablet, but then is the video quality fast enough for FPV flying? What is the best tablet to use here? I want something that doesn't have a lot of lag while I'm flying. If it ends up getting blown out of my line of sight, I need to be able to fly it based on my video feed.

Also, does the P4 display telemetry?

Awesome, thanks! But that still leaves two questions...XD;;

  • Does the P4 display telemetry?

Yes and yes.

If you mean telemetry when flying with FPV goggles, then you'll need a device with an HDMI out -- like the Nvidia Shield K1. You won't see the telemetry data if you connect googles to the back of the P4 remote controller (which requires the HDMI output module to be installed).
