Hello, iv been away from this forum for awhile now but when I was here last there was alot of people complaining about firmware and cracks. Is still an issue cause I was thinking of purchasing and which model phantom 3 would be the best value. Thanks

Overall, DJI does a pretty good job of releasing stable updates and fixing unforeseen issues when they arise. Despite their persistence to make great flying machines, some people always complain about the firmware -- even if in regards to an issue caused by something they are doing incorrectly.

Bumblebee, the takeaway from this should be that the firmware is typically very reliable.

We only make fun of people that blame the firmware for things it is not responsible for because sometimes it is damned silly what people will claim. We understand that it is frustrating for someone to have either a malfunctioning aircraft, or especially having experienced a crash -- many of us have experienced the same. But in such cases, it is almost NEVER a problem with the firmware.
