Phantom 3 vs 2 sizes difference

What is size differences between phantom 2 and 3 ?
I'm lookingto get one (3) and not sure if will fit my b&w outdoor type 61 case ?

None to speak of-- pretty much the same physical size. P2 is yesterday technology, P3 is the today technology, and P4 ( not out-- assumed ) will probably be much more advanced.

Phantom should be ok.....problem likely to be the controller.

The P3 landing gear is about 1/2" wider, longer, and taller than the P2. The body is the same, but like rockydog said, the transmitter is different.

My P2V+ GPC hard case was not quite deep enough for the P3 with props on. I could have removed foam to accommodate the P3, but that would have left little cushion for the bird.

Here is a picture of my P3 in my P2 backpack. I removed some foam to accommodate the P3's landing gear.
