Hi there all,

I need to re-install the last firmware because something got wrong:
(then I lost absolutely control of gimbal motors and could not record or take pictures with camera, but everything else it's working fine, the bird still flying ...)

========== 2014.01.01 00:00:12 remo-con disconnect======
[00012210]Packet: P3C_FW_V01.09.0200.bin [00012314]
[00155183]Result: Failed.

Reboot the aircraft and try to upgrade the firmware again.
[00012108]

The question is ....
Could someone let me know which devices are not being detecting according to the log file ???? :

Welcome to the forum!

I have no idea if the modules are numbered the same for a P3S, but here is what I tell P3A/P3P owners when they ask about modules:

LOG_AB Module Mapping.JPG

Also, with so many modules undetected the first thing I would normally ask a P3A/P3P owner is to check the cables from the gimbal/camera assy. Again, I don't know if that applies to a P3S. Since you mentioned that you lost control of the gimbal and could not record or take pictures with camera, I would also suspect cables in that case.

Good luck! :)

Thanks for your answer,

I have just noticed that the Micro SD it's working because it's generating the LOG file .... I've removed and connected again the ribbon cable and now I have lost the video transmission, in addition to Gimbal motors problem that had before.

Next move will be replace the ribbon with a new one. But the thing is ... if ribbon it's guilty ....

It's really the ribbon cable could be such a fragile component that had broken before even without any crash ?

if you have a multi meter you can check the cable using sewing needles to touch the tiny pins in the connectors set you meter to continuity test and check each wire very simple to do if you don't have a meter you can make a simple test light with an led and battery

Yeah that's exactly what I'm going to do, check continuity each pin on ribbon cable,
I hope it failed, easiest solution it's to replace the cable ... thanks

yep that would be my wish as its the least expensive over a full gimbal

Just in case of Ribbon cable continuity test success,

Has someone the Gimbal Main Board layout?
the more details layout the more welcome :)
