Phantom 3 Professional help!

I recently was given a phantom 3 professional brand new never been flown. I cannot connect it to my android phone or my wifes iphone using DJI GO. But when i tried my sons amazon tablet i could connect via the dji go app but no picture will show on the screen i can fly the drone and land and take pics that will shop on on sd card but cant get anything on the screen no alars or anything pop up... please help
