I just got a Phantom 3 pro and I took it out in the sun today to get some pictures but all the photographs are way too bright. Can anyone suggest how to alter the camera in the winter sun to avoid this?

One way is to tap on the screen where you want the meter to set the exposure....in your shot if you'd tapped on the bottom of the screen, it would have metered for that area instead of averaging out for the bright sky.

You might also want to look into buying some ND filters for flying in real bright sunlight also.

Also, tilt camera down to below the horizon..

I didn't know about changing the exposure meter! Great tip
