Phantom 3 Pro hackers to the rescue ...

Long story short, I've successfully grounded my bird during 1.10.90 firmware update. Unfortunately this version is not reversible, accordingly to DJI release notes ... The compass will not calibrate, therefore motors will not start ... I've exhausted all known ways to solve the issue, other than sending the bird to DJIservice center.

I'm considering radical method of wiping the internal memory off and forcing installation of any suitable firmware version. Anybody out there tried this?

You need to download DJI software assistant to a laptop or desktop then connect your phantom to the computer and launch DJI software assistant then do a refresh of the latest firmware update and then you should be good to go.

This is the P3 mate, it doesn't use Dji software like the p2 range did.
