I don't know about the bird, but I have a battery I bought from Best Buy and it has worked great. They even honored the price from B&H Photo price DJI Intelligent Flight Battery for Phantom 3 CP.PT.000161 B&H. It saved me $25.

The birds are fine too. Best Buy only sells OEM DJI quadcopters and accessories.

I paid 140 in Canada here ... get them on Newegg but they charge you tax now... if you are getting enough of them order direct from dji China. My last 2 orders they didn't charge tax or import fees.
