don't stand by any metal objects and don't worry bird will go into rth if you lose signal

Where are you flying? Is there a lot of metal, power lines, etc. in the area?

Also, try to fly away from houses and buildings that can cause WiFi interference.

So, were you doing any of the things we suggested?

Just make sure you are some distance away from any metal masses (vehicles, siding, fences). They will screw with the compass. And be sure and calibrate it in an area free from these things. Wi-Fi interference is something else, just have to deal with it as it comes. you need to have a good GPS window, too. Think open sky, as much as possible.

Yep, What he says. All good advice.
Good luck.
