Hi Guys,

I have had a bit of a nightmare today with my P2V.

Upon calibrating the compass I heard a loud pop and smelt burning. I think it may have been caused by catching the cam jack upon calibration.

My camera power no longer works at all so I opened her up and found a right mess around where the jack wires connect to the PCB. The end of the wires have pretty much melted away and the component (resistor or diode?) has completely vaporized.

I bought the P2V last December so was wondering if anyone had any idea if this sort of thing is covered by DJI warranty? I cannot contact DJI Europe as they are closed for the weekend and struggling to find an answer. If not has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do to repair it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ryan

That's a small coil (0.8nH) that blew. It acts like a fuse. You could just solder over it, but then you lose its protection.
This topic has indeed come up many times before. It's not hard to replace for someone with good soldering skills.
