Phantom 2 Not Maintaining Takeoff Speed

When I go to take off with the phantom 2, it goes up about 5 ft and starts deceleration. It is forced back down to ground due to not maintaining prop speed and is flashing red. I have tried another transmitter. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

All arm LEDs flashing red? Sounds like your battery has lost capacity. How old is the battery?

It does sound like a battery problem. Put your Phantom on the DJI assistant 3.8 and check your battery cell levels. If there is a large fluctuation battery could be bad.
