I recently bought a Phantom 2 with gimbal. I have a gopro hero 3+ and I have been flying that a few days enjoying it. I have the AVL58 and the iosd mini I plan on installing for fpv. I was curious about the best placement of these two additions to the heli. The idea of the best center of gravity makes sense. But I haven't found anything online saying where the COG is. I assume from reading online that the naza makes up of things being out of balance. But for the sake of being picky & wanting things to be right, Id just like to know is there a way to check the COG or is there advised places to mount the hardware for the best possible COG with this type of setup.

CoG is important but the equipment is pretty light and the P2 is pretty forgiving of it. More important is getting the vTX as far from the receiver antennas as possible and oriented for LOS from as many directions as possible. Also, avoid getting too close to the compass.
