Phantom 2 battery isnt charging

Hello,
I go to plug my battery in and it doesn't charge, no lights come on like they're supposed to. The battery still works when plugged into the drone so do i need to replace the charger?

There is a light on the power supply box.

Is this a P2 battery or a P2V battery? On a P2V, there is a way to "force" the charge which works most of the time. After plugging everything, turn on the battery.

Okay you might google "force charge lipos" and see what you find.

In a P4 if you have something like 80% battery life the lights on the battery will not come on when you plug in the charger because the battery will not accept a charge. It is not recommended to top off a almost fully charged battery. Check at what % your battery is now, if high, then fly to bring it down ( or just turn on your bird ) and try again.
