I have a Phantom 1 and have flown it succesfully for a while. I am home a month and away at work for a month. I recently returned home and charged all the batteries and got ready to fly. When I plugged the batteries in, all I got was a double beep every second and blinking red light. Can't fly like that. Can anyone please tell me what is wrong? Thank you all.

The same thing happened to my FC40 on my first flight, but the props wouldn't spin. I believe it had something to do with the battery. Charged up two batteries last night, and taking the Phantom out again. If it does the same thing, I'm going to start freaking out.
Took it out again. With the fresh battery, it flew just fine. I think we both ruined the battery somehow.
Well dang!! I think I have ten bad batteries. I will order a new one and see how it goes. Thanks for the input.
Hey don't know how it worked out but I had a nearly new battery and it dropped to low to charge on charger
Google- lipo restore recharge
or similar before you toss them
