I just flew two stock batteries. My tx batteries recently charged. I forgot to turn off the tx and it started beeping and red led blinking when I saw it about 20 minutes later. Batteries couldn't be down. Does it do that with no activity after a certain period. I have never seen that before and this is the first time I have forgotten to turn it off.

Yep, it'll give you that warning after a bit of inactivity. It'll also beep at low batt level but in the situation you describe I'm pretty certain it was the idle warning.

I should mention quad was not powered and cells were at 1.3 v
