Pairing new controller

i just received my new (used) p3s controller. Pulled off a connector on the old one when installing the dbs mod.
Question is how do pair new Rc to ac? Also do I have to worry about what firmware on Rc? Or is that on ac?
Just want to make sure it's right.

Yes you can sell as it can be paired up with new ac. I believe!

Imy going to attempt to do the remote transplant!

Paired it up and was as simple as it was explained.
I want to try it out in the morning get before I start hacking into this one.
Figure I'll install my old ARGTEC on this one and when I get my old controller fixed, I will put the Itelite dbs on it.
