My silly question is even though I keep reading if you buy the p4pro without
The 5.5" screen does that mean you do not get the option of the frequency
Picking 2.4-5.8 ? Or if you buy the
1400.00 one and use your own tablet
Is that option still going to be there for you. Just confused on the way I am reading maybe.

I'm wondering same question...
It seems that the RC can work on both 2,4 and 5,8Ghz band with aircraft ... not related to the dji screen.

"As the 2.4GHz frequency band is often affected by Wi-Fi, 4G cell towers, and other types of interference in urban areas, a 5.8GHz band will increase transmission reliability. When switched on, the Phantom 4 Pro evaluates local signal levels, automatically choosing the transmission frequency with the lowest level of interference. This ensures the optimum range of a maximum video transmission of 4.3mi (7km)"

Im new to the Phantom world, but would be surprised if it was screen related. I'm very technically minded & doubt that feature would need their screen!
