P4P+ Issues

New P4P+ with Compass Error. Called DJI Tech and went through the steps ....still no resolution. Also looked in battery compartment to get SN and notice on the left hand side of where the battery connects that it appears something has overheaded. I am planned to send it to DJI Repair.

Anyone experienced same issues?

Sorry for your issues. Can you describe what steps you went thru to try to resolve the issues. Maybe a photo of the over heated area.

Factory Reset via DJI Assistant 2
Update to lastest Firmware version
Calibrated Compass
Calibrated IMU

There's nothing that means anything in the link you attached.
Recalibrating the IMU won't change anything about the compass.
You say you recalibrated the compass ... did that go successfully?
Can you start again at the beginning and explain exactly what the problem is that you are trying to fix.

You mean something looks or smells melted? Pics?
