P4P default SD Card too slow warning

Hi Everyone, new to the forum but hoping I could find a solution to this issue.

Today the default micro SD card that comes with the Phantom 4 Pro started giving me these "sd card too slow" warnings and subsequently I could only record 10-20 seconds of video at a time before it beeped and automatically stopped recording. The caveat here is that yesterday I recorded to the same SD card in 4k and it worked totally fine.

Anyone else experiencing this?

May be your SD card has lots of fragments. Try to format it try again.

As a good practice please plan reformatting the card whenever you delete a large file.

Thank you. Right before I saw your reply I reformatted it while in the Phantom. Hope to test it out tomorrow or Monday...

I had the same problem and no one believed me. Oh well.

Replaced it with a 64gb card and all was good.

As a good practice please plan reformatting the card whenever you delete a large file.

+1 good idea to format once you have copied files off your card, as well as when using a new card. Cards can be temperamental, I've had a few failures over the years.

I formatted the card and it worked perfectly. Since then I purchased a much larger card and it appears to be working great as well.
