P4P Controller on P4A Bird?

The P4A+ 300E is that same remote, but with screen. Check the distance specs for that model. Should be same. Only single band, like P4. (2.4) no 5.8 like pro.
Flew my P4A with the pro 300F and E just fine. Never checked distance though, can’t see that far.

I'm not really trying to get long distance, but rather robust connection in challenging conditions on construction sites. I invariably need to get around a 50-acre site with trees or a building getting into the picture momentarily. My Mavic Pro and P4P don't have trouble. I bought the P4A as a backup to the P4P before I understood how sucky the RC is on the P4A. I can't get 2000 feet in clear unobstructed LOS on the P4A in standard radio gear.
As soon as I get my P4P back from some minor work with ThunderDrones, I'll try the P4P controller on my P4A. I'll report results here, but thought I might get some idea here what to expect
