P4P battery warmer?

Hi all, I just joined the P4P club, coming from the P2+.

In my research I've come across quite a few people who talk about cold batteries being one of the reasons a drone can have a failure in flight.

When I look on the DJI website I notice they sell battery warmers for P3 and previous models but can't see one for a P4 or P4P.

Is it something not to worry about with the new P4's or?

I suspect low sales of the former prevented development of the later. (I assume the batteries are not the same size?).

You could probably build one that is better by not using the battery's own power. Will need a thermostat in the circuit.

A little experimentation would be needed, but a project I may do for next winter for both the P4P and the MP and use the car's 12V while on the way to a site to keep / set several batteries at about 10 - 15°C.

My area doesn't need a battery warmer, but if it did I would try one of those 12v ice chests than warms also. Put a portable thermometer inside on of those to monitor the warmth level and you should be set.
