is the p4p worth getting if you already have a p3p and a p4?
thx D

It depends. Are you able to take advantage of any of the new P4P features?

If all you are worried about is side and backwards avoidance, then no... the p4 is everything the pro is but the side and backwards avoidance.

I specifically want to know about the range of the new P4P. I really dislike being tied down to a mile range like the P4 does in stock form. My P3P does twice that. If the Lightbridge on P4P is truly enhanced, I'm in, with both feet. If it will simply do 2mi (half of their claim) in open areas (no wifi nearby) I'm a happy camper. The last time DJI claimed they "enhanced" the P4 Lightbridge, that meant detuned. I have the proof. Sorry to be so cynical, but it's the truth.

I flew 3 long distance Litchi missions today on my P4, and my wife and I are still in awe how good the video is. It is hard to believe there are better cameras out there but we all know there are.

My P4 is still just a hobby toy for me, but if I needed to make money, I'd go for the P4P for the better low light capability, faster available frame rates and the extra megapixels.
