P4 Something Wierd Happened Mid Flight

Just had a total freakout. I have a brand new P4, not the Pro version. I have a GL300A with DBS Mod installed. It fly's my P4. I've only got about 6 flights on it. Anyway, I took off firmware of the latest version and all of a sudden at about 2,100 ft out status bar goes red and says updates required and the video started vibrating like crazy as if the camera was mounted on a go cart with no suspension. Immediately hit RTH and got it back safe and sound. That makes me nervous about my $1100 investment. Thoughts? This happen to anyone? By the way, I also have 32 channel hack.

Yore having a good run! I have read similar threads elsewhere, seems you may have auto updates turned on with your device.

sounds like the gimbal stabalization quit -- i.e. the firmware taking the gyro values and using them to compensate for movement and vibration by controlling the three motors in the gimbal stopped working.

I'll bet the video looks a lot like that from a toy camera drone with a fixed camera.

Why this happened, I have no clue... sorry.
