P4 remote range

What kind of remote control distance should I expect on my p4 flying in my subdivision with a bunch of 2 story houses. Today I got a warning at 1800 feet flying at altitude of 130 feet.

Hi.
The P4 distance range is up to 5km. Even more by extending the range by installing special antenna, I recommend you to go to setting and set up the range manually, maybe it's already on a distance limit.

Forgot to say if there are high buildings on your path should fly with higher altitude otherwise the high buildings may interfere the radio transmission.

I think 130 feet elevation is too low for that distance. Get your bird up there a little ways away from any interference.
