P4 Remote Beeping Uncontrollably

Hi Everyone. I just bought the p4 less than a week ago. After my last flight i left the drone and controller packed ready for my trip (tomorrow....yikes!) When i came in today, the remote was beeping uncontrollably and was quite warm. I turned it off and back on again. When it turned back on, it kept on beepiing with the red light flashing and the first white light solid.

I have tried to calibrate it (including the little wheels on the top) and no luck. I've plugged it in for a while and still no luck. when i first plugged in the drone, i updated the firmware and everything. this just happened suddenly.

Any help would be appreciated

It sounds like you're saying you packed the remote controller up while it was turned on. Perhaps something overheated and was damaged internally. If that's true, your best option would be to contact DJI support and get it repaired.

while beeping just start up the quad as usual....it will go away

thanks everyone. msinger you were right. it was the remote not being turned off. a full recharge made the beeping stop. problem solved
