Just got my P4. I typically take photos/video for golf courses. Nothing worse than getting a prop in the video. (yes I know you can crop it out). I made the jump to upgrade because of the higher motors and promise of less props in shots.

I am reading in P mode the P4 flies much slower than the P3. Not necessarily a bad thing, in my opinion, if it means steadier videos and/or less props in video.

Anyone notice if catching less props in P mode with the P4 over P3?

((Another dumb question...As of 3/22/2016 does not appear to be any updates yet. Am i correct?))

Heading out later to cruises some fairways....

Yes I haven't gotten props in P mode yet because it doesn't go as fast as the p3p does in P mode

If the wind is moving fast you may still get props in the video. I was in a headwind earlier, and it caused the props to show a few times while in P mode

Meaning what?

It is operator error (flew too fast) or editing error (didn't crop out?)
It means the user has to turn his brain ON and adjust the gimbal pitch to avoid props in the FOV in order to get some nice footage. And also keep in mind the limitations of the platform : high speed and gimbal horizontal = props in the video.
Don't see anything complicated in this !!!
