I did not want to be drilling a whole for fear of having the warranty voided. So, this is what I came up using gopro mounts. Not so pretty but it does its job.

If that does not end up holding up well over time, you can find some mounts that don't require permanently modifying the remote controller here.

Thank you. I actually ordered this one (ebay) looks like coming from HK. Having a hard time finding this one from where i am at. We'll see how this gopro stuff old up til i get actual one delivered.

Can't add much to this conversation regarding the actual RC tablet mount part, but if you are looking to use that type of white P2V+ jaw clamp I can suggest an easy way for it to grab onto the back of your tablet. I attached a plastic light switch cover (face down) to the back of the tablet with two Velcro strips for my P2V+. The jaw securely grabs onto the light switch cover and firmly holds the tablet.
