So I just purchased a non-DJI battery for my P3S (expecting it this Saturday), then read that it may not work. Then I also read that it WILL work if I use the Litchi app (I currently use DJI Go app). So, I guess I would like to know two things from users that have experience in this situation, (1) if the new battery doesn't work in my P3S should I invest in the Litchi app which is $23 in iTunes or (2) return the battery and pay for the more expensive DJI-branded battery.

I'm looking at getting one of those style batteries, all my others are DJI.

I've not come across anything about them not being compatible with Go or Litchi. All I've heard is they take a few flights and charge cycles to hit peak performance compared to DJI.

Not heard any horror stories and I'll probably be getting one next payday.
